The Phantom Tollbooth is a back-to-the-new-school recording facility in San Francisco. We aim combine the best of the analog and digital worlds.

Starting life in 1990 as the record-laden project studio for producer Dan Prothero, a serious fanaticism for vintage gear and 70's recording methods has grown it to meet the pre- and post-production needs of Fog City Productions. In the intervening years it has served as writing spot, digital editing suite, overdubbing and mixdown chamber, and a good place to hear some choice vinyl.
